Darius Lukosevicius is both an advanced instructor and tandem certified pilot now offering tandem flights in the Grand Junction area.
Darius started his flying career in 1997 with hang gliders and bought his first paraglider in 2001. After his first flight, he was hooked and
spent the next few years avidly chasing airtime achieving his first personal best of 40 miles within a year.
In 2005 Darius moved to Kansas City and started paraglider towing in the region. While there he increased the Kansas state cross country distance record multiple times. In 2008, he set the current state record of 125 miles landing in Nebraska.
In 2007 Darius started instructing others to learn free flight. During his time instructing in Kansas he has trained students from all over the US including Missouri, Iowa, Florida, and Illinois. Inspired Dariu’s students made great achievements in Competitions and Cross Country flying.
In 2010 Darius moved to Grand Junction Colorado, where he has resumed instructing and also continues to pursue his own passion in cross country.

2009 – Missouri state record (64miles)
2009 – 20th overall US Nationals.
